This 1880’s East Nashville home was already bursting with character – our client’s passion for unique folk art pieces and family history was clear from the start. Our challenge was to lighten up and modernize the spaces, creating a mix of old and new, for an expressive, meaningful, and captivating environment. We brought in custom furniture and rugs, and family heirloom pieces were reupholstered with modern fabrics. The hallway’s floor was painted in a bold, graphic pattern, leading through the home to a beautiful garden in the back yard. This was truly a special project, and our clients love the transformation!
