Project Spotlight: Dickson Cabin
This project gave us the opportunity to decorate and style our clients’ cabin in Dickson, Tennessee, about an hour outside of Nashville. The log cabin is set on 10 beautiful acres, and it provides a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

In the first guest bedroom, the light bedding and rug take advantage of the bright natural light that floods through the overhead windows. Colorful accessories and textiles, including a beautiful vintage rug, add interest to the otherwise monochromatic room.
The beautiful blue otomi quilt, paired with a vintage hand-embroidered pillow, gives the room a sense of depth and softness against the texture of the wood.
Vintage blankets contrast with a new custom pillow to blend the fresh new look with the rustic cabin aesthetic.
The second guest bedroom has a bit more of a masculine feeling, centered around the custom mounted deer head pillow. This room encapsulates the log cabin look that the client desired. The bedding stays light, but with a richer color palette of hunter greens, deep grays, and pops of red.
The two macramé wall hangings create depth in the space. The larger one hung over the bed plays nicely against the texture of the paneled walls.
In addition, other specialty textiles and colors were added throughout the cabin to brighten up the existing spaces.
To finish out the home, each space has been accessorized with vintage and found pieces. Vintage art pieces and old books set the stage in these areas, with small decorative items to top off each vignette.
